Baptisms can occur during the 9.30am mass or after Sunday morning mass at 11am. Only 3 Baptisms at a time are usually celebrated.<br \/>\nFamilies wishing to celebrate baptisms are asked to contact the parish office to confirm dates and complete paperwork.<br \/>\nSt Theresas\u2019 Baptismal teams work with the families in preparation and formation for Baptisms.<br \/>\nBaptisms at any other times may be arranged in consultation with Fr. Brian Noonan, parish priest of St. Theresas\u2019.<br \/>\nBaptisms at St. Theresas\u2019 Parish Centre using a different priest can also be arranged in consultation with the parish office. Please contact the parish secretary on 4639 4688 for information.<br \/>\n<strong>Confirmation<\/strong><br \/>\nSt. Theresas\u2019 parish offers the sacrament of Confirmation once each year. The Bishop of Toowoomba Diocese presides over the sacrament. This sacrament is usually celebrated in the second term of the school year<br \/>\nYoung people from Year 4 or older are encouraged to be part of the sacrament. Most children from Mater Dei school are involved but anyone within the parish is encouraged to be a part of process.<br \/>\nA period of preparation is undertaken within small family groups. There is usually an information night, an enrolment procedure, a commitment ceremony, weekly meetings and a reconciliation liturgy preceding the celebration of the sacrament of Confirmation.<br \/>\nFor more information, please contact the Pastoral Associate on 4639 4688.<br \/>\n<strong>First Eucharist<\/strong><br \/>\nSt. Theresas\u2019 parish offers the sacrament of First Eucharist once each year after the candidates have received the sacrament of Confirmation and First Reconciliation (The sacrament of Penance), usually in the second term of the school year. The sacrament is generally celebrated over two masses on the same weekend in any particular year.<br \/>\nA period of preparation is undertaken within small family groups. There is usually an information night, an enrolment procedure, a commitment ceremony and weekly meetings preceding the celebration of the sacrament of First Eucharist.<br \/>\nFor more information, please contact the Pastoral Associate on 4639 4688.<br \/>\n<strong>Sacraments of Healing<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Penance \u2013 First Reconciliation<\/strong><br \/>\nThe sacrament of Penance \u2013 First Reconciliation is celebrated once each year during the fourth term of the school year.<br \/>\nYoung people from Year 3 or older are encouraged to be part of this sacrament. Most children from Mater Dei school are involved but anyone within the parish is encouraged to be a part of process.<br \/>\nA period of preparation is undertaken within small family groups. There is usually an information night, an enrolment procedure, a commitment ceremony and weekly meetings which precede the celebration of the sacrament of Penance \u2013 <strong>First Reconciliation.<\/strong><br \/>\nThe sacrament of Penance\/ First Reconciliation follows the form of 2nd rite of reconciliation in which the community comes together to sing, listen to scripture and prepare together then it is followed by individual confession by the candidates and individual absolution from the priest. After all the candidates have been part of the absolution process, the community comes together to give thanks for God\u2019s forgiveness.<br \/>\nFor more information, please contact the Pastoral Associate on 4639 4688.<br \/>\n<strong>Anointing of the Sick<\/strong><br \/>\nAs the community of St. Theresas\u2019, the sacrament of anointing is celebrated twice each year. One sacrament of anointing occurs at a special anointing and healing mass followed by light luncheon. The second sacrament of anointing is celebrating in November\/December\u00a0 at a regular weekday mass.<br \/>\nIndividual anointing of the sick occurs when needed by Fr.
